Scope and Contents

A set of technical drawings of the Coudé Spectrograph for the Isaac Newton Telescope at RGO Herstmonceux. Originally held in four rolls labelled 'RY Old INT Coudé Spectrograph, 1st system Nos. not m/f'. Includes drawings of five sheet sizes: V, W, X, Y and Z; V being the largest. The Coudé Spectrograph was installed on the Isaac Newton Telescope at RGO, Herstmonceux in 1971 but never worked due to thermal instability. A new Coudé Spectrograph was later commissioned for the INT at La Palma. For further reading, see R.F.
